  1. I’m with Nat. You are just full of surprises, aren’t ya? I took one look at the drawing and totally did a double take.I must say… nicely done. :D Do more of them! Hiddles next…or Richard Armitage….or a guy with an awesome nose. ;) *ahem* I should stop writing now.

Eddie Redmayne’s voice. Hahaha. Yes…. yes. yes.

    Colossians ♥

  2. Well, you already know what I think of your sketch but let me say it again…THAT. IS. AWESOME. I seriously didn’t know you could draw like that :) Hmmmm…who to draw next (I haven’t forgotten your commission, by the way). Well, since you’ve already drawn one guy from WH, why not hold off on Hiddles and draw Eddie? Or MM? I would love a Richard Armitage one as well…oh, whatever! I’ll like anything you draw :)

Singing ‘OMO’ in the rain? What a lovely idea! We’ve had a severe lack of rain these days but I do sing it (and ALFOR) in the shower…sort of adds to the experience I think =)

Eddie Redmayne’s voice. *sigh* Have you heard the choral piece he did? It’s pure gorgeousness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxFEqPUu57s)

Ah yes…I love making strangers smile. It’s like a little sunburst of awesomeness to put a smile on someone’s face <3

    Talk to ya later!

  3. I didn’t know you were such a good artist! I second the motion for Richard being next! ;) What’s the series you finished? And which one are you about to start? I’m always looking for new things to watch :)
    Love ya!
    -mal

    • Hey, Mal! Haha, it seems as though Richard is indeed a popular choice. He was definitely already on my list of people to draw, though, so I know I’ll do him eventually!
The series we finished was called “Horatio Hornblower,” eight episodes that chronicled the adventures of a young British naval officer in the Napoleonic war. It was very good! There was unfortunately some language in it, but other than that, it was excellent and very enjoyable.
The series we’re going to try next is the BBC Robin Hood. Which I already know you adore. ;)

      • YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!! I was hoping that’s what you were going to try! I hope you love it as much as I do :) Yes, it is cheesy, but it’s soo good nonetheless! And Richard is in it…so that automatically makes it 100 times awesomer :)
If you like it and ever need someone to fangirl with, shoot me an email – I’ll fangirl all day long with you :)

  4. IT’S BEN. IT’S YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND, PETIE. hahahaha. who on EARTH sang javert’s suicide on top of a hill?? weirdo. oh, and what mini-series was that? oh thats right. mr. bush. is. still. alive. everything is OK.
ahem. who to draw next??? ahem…*cough*richard*cough*.
also, what new series are you starting next??

    • I KNOW, ISN’T HE BOOOO-TIFUL. I’M SO PROUD. :D
hehehehehehe. kidding. yeah. goodness, i have no idea what kind of nut would do something like that. ;)
NO. EVERYTHING IS NOT OKAY, YOU COLD, HEARTLESS BEING. i still haven’t recovered from my beloved someone’s death. i took no pleasure in the last two episodes. none at all.
and like i told mal, we’re going to try out the bbc robin hood. aren’t you proud of me, mah lil sheep? huh huh huh?

  5. DRAW. MARIUS. PONTMERCY.
And I do mean Eddie Redmayne. :D

OHMYWORD. Okay, so you said you were doing a sketch of the Cabbage Patch (which is what I fondly call him sometimes, and my sister thinks I’m an idiot) and I was thinking, “oh, that’s cool,” and then this post popped up in my dashboard and whammed me over the head with your amazing talent. WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME YOU COULD DRAW. Are your talents endless? Did you just pick up something at birth that the rest of us didn’t get? WHY IS LIFE SO UNFAIR.
    :P

And your new profile picture? ADORABLE.

  6. I love it!!!!!!!
Draw Russell Crowe as Robin Hood! That would be so good. Eddie R. as Marius would be wonderful as well. Valjean could make a stunning portrait too……. You could also do Martin Freeman. <3

  7. Wow. Your portrait is impressive. Why not try drawing your own interpretation of a favorite book character? I’d say one of Dickens larger then life ones would be fun: Aunt Betsy, Mr. Dick, Bumble, Uriah Heap, or Mr. Mcawber.

  8. I just finished watching one of THE most awesome movies ever, Amazing Grace! So, I was totally proud of myself when I actually recognized who Benedict Cumberbatch was! (yeah, I know, not that impressive but I’m not actor or actress savvy at all :)

Since you already did such an INCREDIBLE job on my second favorite actor from the movie, why not do my most favorite: William Wilberforce aka Ioan Gruffudd (no surprise there right?)!!

P.S. Forgot to say, hi I’m Michaela (otherwise known as a lurker finally coming out of the woodwork :)

    • You, my dear, just watched what could very well be my most favorite movie of all time! I have watched Amazing Grace countless times, and I have never tired of it.

Oooh, yes! I just got a bunch of pictures to draw yesterday, but when I need some more, I will definitely add Ioan Gruffudd to the list! Thanks for the suggestion!

Yay! So glad you commented. And very lovely to meet you, Michaela!

  9. Miss Petie, it is an honor to make your acquaintance as well! So lovely to “meet” someone who agrees with me about my love for God, being a country girl, and disliking Amish romance novels (don’t even get me started). It seems like we have many things in common (well besides the coffee and John Deere thing, I’m definitely a hot chocolate, Case IH girl :) ). Keep up the good work, writing and British accents! :)
P.S. (ok, so I have a thing for post scripts) So glad Candyman is ok! My Lucky has given me some scares as well, so I feel for ya’.

    • Abby.

I feel like an imbecile, but I just have to tell you this because I’m sitting here about to fall out of my chair from laughing at myself.

When I read your comment, the first thing that popped into my head was Numbers, the book of the Bible. So I went and looked up chapters 17 and 19…

And I was totally confused. I thought, “Well, that was… random. Was she trying to send me some sort of message?”

Then I noticed what post your comment was on.

Aha. I see. I see what you did there.

So now that I know what numbers you’re actually talking about, I heartily concur. :D

  10. You’re making it really hard on yourself (and me!) to find a husband for you. I mean, who’s gonna claim he can top B.C.?

BTW, your next sketch should be Tom Hiddleston… but in full Loki.

Your comments are like the sugar to my iced tea.
